Buying Too Much/Shall No Longer Buy Doujins

I have a confession to make.

Well, to begin, has anyone ever felt terrible when they look at their merchandises and doujins and see stacks of them on the bookshelves/displays? I mean, I keep track of my order and precisely how much I spend, and, really, I've been spending A LOT over this 8 months since I was introduced to the selling/trading community on LJ. And by that, I mean $500+. I'm too scared to pinpoint exactly how much I've been spending.

I feel terrible. This, I believe, must stop soon and if I keep doing this I'll fall into huge debt/make my life miserable. And that's not very pretty. I've been emptying my savings and... that's not good. So yeah. I'm being too wasteful, in short, and I should've known better than to be sucked up into buying all these items, only to sell them out at a much lower price and don't care later.

after I receive a couple of more items I'm planning on reselling (bought a box of straps I no longer want) , I will no longer be purchasing doujins at all and will quit being a hetalia_sell member and any other selling communities, and will turn my attention to scanlations ONLY. I will also no longer be so active on LJ, Hetalia, and any other fandoms.

Oh, how I lose my mind in the things I love... it's scary and intimidating, now that I look back and see the destruction I caused over my desire.

That's a good idea! XD And I feel so guilty when charging international customers the shipping fees so I usually cut it by a half anyway so yeah XD

Hopefully, but the fandom really looks dead. ;u; Oh yeah, I've seen it! They look an awfully lot like the Tales rubber straps designs that you have on sale XD I want to take the Suzaku/Lelouch one... is that available or only avail. through buying two of them and merging it into one? :O

yeah! they're from the same rubber strap series so they kind of look the same ^^ i want the suzaku and lelouch one too! apparently it's only sold as a box with all the characters :/ maybe i'll get them at Y!A when they're out since i don't want the whole box Q.Q

I think it is! The page number, name, circle, are all the same but oh god I've heard of KacShop's immense shipping charges. ;u; is it true?

Just got a reply from a shopping service and they stated that the book will cost around $75 to get total. GOD NO. ;U;

ah, what i mean is that you will have to buy the full box which comes with all eight characters http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIG-COL-5633&page=top. so yup, you will have both of them but there's other characters too >.<;;

i don't have any friends only entries actually. i intend to start posting on LJ after my exams but nah, i'm too lazy XD

i just checked the proxy's estimation for domestic shipping here http://japanauction.byethost11.com/?page_id=342 and she says 300~ yen but you should ask the proxy to clarify first ^___^ plus sometimes there's also bank transfer fees and stuff. like i ordered one 1500 yen art book but after domestic shipping and fees it's like ~3000 yen excluding shipping to me TAT

d'aww then, I'd love to buy them together but dang I may buy them from secondhand sellers on the comm then, assuming they won't want to keep them. >3 A box is too much for me to buy just for two characters //shot

XD it might seem tedious at first, but if you get used to it you'll start posting about things that are fairly important that happened in your life, XD especially when you need to let your feelings out. o.o but for really personal stuff I'd recommend writing it in a journal that's offline or something since the internet really does have no privacy. >.<

Yeah, the proxy I asked said there would be bank transfer fees, (her commission is approximately 600 yen so not too bad), the book cost, domestic shipping is around 450 for her o.o, and intl pp fee and stuffie. ;u;

Wow, that's double the amount you pay for! //shakes fist I want to go to Japan so badly, maybe as a transfer there, then I won't have to pay any commission or shipping or bank fees, just tax and the sweet book. ;u; OH GODS WHY. XD
