Buying Too Much/Shall No Longer Buy Doujins

I have a confession to make.

Well, to begin, has anyone ever felt terrible when they look at their merchandises and doujins and see stacks of them on the bookshelves/displays? I mean, I keep track of my order and precisely how much I spend, and, really, I've been spending A LOT over this 8 months since I was introduced to the selling/trading community on LJ. And by that, I mean $500+. I'm too scared to pinpoint exactly how much I've been spending.

I feel terrible. This, I believe, must stop soon and if I keep doing this I'll fall into huge debt/make my life miserable. And that's not very pretty. I've been emptying my savings and... that's not good. So yeah. I'm being too wasteful, in short, and I should've known better than to be sucked up into buying all these items, only to sell them out at a much lower price and don't care later.

after I receive a couple of more items I'm planning on reselling (bought a box of straps I no longer want) , I will no longer be purchasing doujins at all and will quit being a

hetalia_sell member and any other selling communities, and will turn my attention to scanlations ONLY. I will also no longer be so active on LJ, Hetalia, and any other fandoms.

Oh, how I lose my mind in the things I love... it's scary and intimidating, now that I look back and see the destruction I caused over my desire.

Ah, i remembered! :D and because there was a time when i keep visiting your sales post because i wanted to buy something but i have no money >.<;; and somehow your page is on my top sites list so occasionally i'll click on it XD

and wow, $50?! :O is that an anthology? and yeah, last time i use to think that $20~ is too expensive for a doujinshi but it's different now ;-;

haha, same as well! i'm focusing a lot more on illustration doujins rather than the comic ones :D
i'll let you know if i manage to see any of the two books online! :)

Yeah ;u; 328 pages, B5, Code Geass anthology by Fuukatei, god I don't even look at the doujinshi anymore after only a month of having it T_T //but idk if I should sell it so yeah XD

Lol, now $20 is the minimum price for doujins //sobs

:DDD oh yeah, speaking of illustration books, gosh I was looking at one of your artbooks- OH, by Nao Tsukiji for a while lol but then realized I had spent the money for that book ages ago ;u;

I found that too :DDD //so excited <3333333 thanks so much :3 But gollies that doujinshi is popular so people are going to bid and gosh I don't know if I should put my max bid at 3000 since commission from a service is 1200 and plus bank transfer fees and such ;u; //sobsob

i think you should keep the anthology :D because you spent so much on it after all D: unless you can sell it at the price you bought it at. Fuukatei's art is awesome btw! ^^

haha, maybe your collection so so big that you forgot that you have the book already? XD

as for shopping services, i recommend this two:

Ahh, no my collection is terrifying small- I only buy books I really want... and that has cost me a lot already. ;u; I have around 10 doujins right now, and 10 more coming. ;u;

Oooh, the first looks pretty good (cheaper the better! //shot lol) but I do like nice service so I'll check both :3)

Also btw do you have any artbooks you're planning to sell? XD (all of your artbooks are awesome so yeah :3, just that I can't afford any ;u;... or already have spent that on doujins //stompstomp)

rambling is awesome, I love doing that, especially when I write on paper I just write about everything that happened today and what's going to happen tomorrow it feels good to let out your feelings so yeah

yeah, you should try posting it at the cg comm for $50! to see if there's any interested buyers :D sadly, i don't really collect code geass doujins T^T otherwise i'd have bought all her stuff! XD

i have like around 30 doujins >.< ahhh//// and like about 10+ more coming ;-;

i choose the second one because i like proxies who are much easier to talk to :> but cheaper is good too!
and yup, i'll probably list some for sale soon ^^ if you're interested in any, i can probably hold them for you or something if you need :D

Don't collect CG doujins- right now they're not very popular anyway, so if you want to sell them you're not going to have too much of a luck :p besides, a lot of good CG doujinkas have left the fandom for other popular fandoms now :p //sobsob

Hey, that's not that bad, y'know, I know someone who has around 500+ doujins and still collecting... actually, I haven't been in touch with her for a long time now, so I'm not sure if she's still collecting or not, but god that's a lot ;u;

XD it might seem tedious at first, but if you get used to it you'll start posting about things that are fairly important that happened in your life, XD especially when you need to let your feelings out. o.o but for really personal stuff I'd recommend writing it in a journal that's offline or something since the internet really does have no privacy. >.<

Yeah, the proxy I asked said there would be bank transfer fees, (her commission is approximately 600 yen so not too bad), the book cost, domestic shipping is around 450 for her o.o, and intl pp fee and stuffie. ;u;

Wow, that's double the amount you pay for! //shakes fist I want to go to Japan so badly, maybe as a transfer there, then I won't have to pay any commission or shipping or bank fees, just tax and the sweet book. ;u; OH GODS WHY. XD
